  1. My in laws on Cape Breton (Lake Ainslie) are prepping. 13 hour drive from Raynham

  3. No....I was on the second floor of a dorm. I thought it was pretty cool
  4. Can confirm....Freshman year at UMiami. Arrived on campus and moved into my dorm and Andrew hit early the next morning. The NHC at that time was located right across the street on US1. Their last recorded windspeed was 142 mph before they stopped reporting. Campus was pretty much destroyed. After 2 days they closed campus for 2 (maybe 3?) weeks and told everybody to go home. It was an amazing storm. I'll never forget the sound of the wind...Like sitting above the wing of an airplane while it's taking off.
  5. Added water to the pool 3 days ago....pumping it out now. Saw BOX reported 7" fell in Rehoboth in 3 hours.

  15. 78/76 here in Wareham as I end my 4th week in the new job of installing whole house standby generators for an electrical contractor. Great month to be working outside everyday....

  17. Just noticed mine was a record for July too, but it was also the second highest month of production I've had in 11 years since the system went live. Tells me 2 things....It was a dry and sunny month, and also my panels haven't really seen any reduction in efficiency after 10+ years

  19. Had a couple showers in Scituate before finishing work. All it did was make it more humid
  20. Installing a generator in Scituate....really nice day to be working out in the direct sun
