Also, on nights when snow was in the forecast or even remotely possible, I used to get in trouble (when caught) for opening my bedroom window and ofc letting the heat out just basically standing there gazing into the night praying and willing and BEGging it to snow and breathing the cold air and seeing if I "smelled snow" Unfortunately, I don't have any specific memories connecting those nights to snowy mornings. I do know I did this ritual much more often than it actually snowed.

You guys, I have a plastic rain gauge stuck in the ground in an open area...so this morning, I'm drinking coffee, looking out the back door, and one of the resident foxes walks up to it, sniffs the opening, and lifts his leg right over (into?) it lmao!!! . Not like a noticeable stream of pee, visually or in the gauge. Maybe just scenting. The gauge has only been there a week or so otherwise I'd have to question if all my totals have been inflated
