Haha, I was on the wrong route this morning. Just went through route 40 around route 543 and there were poles and wires all askew everywhere for like 1.5 mi. I was driving but noticed one obvious place on wires, but a bunch of poles just effed up in various ways

Still no power. Estimated back tomorrow evening atm but you never know, sometimes BGE manages expectations I think then gets done sooner. Over 16K "customers" affected still in Harford, the most anywhere, still a lot of outages all over.

Power still out. Ton of BGE outages in Harford, reducing but very slowly. I went out to get coffee and survey, saw trees and limbs down all around. Sticks and leaves plastered everywhere. Did not see any trees on wires on my route and only one partial roadblock, on my street, but could drive around. 0.49" total

Lots of us meander especially when it's slow, I'm not being a topic cop so much as saying with that particular topic, no matter what one's stance, eventually a weary mod will come along and ask you to go to the dedicated subforum. edit: because it tends to take over, not because no one understands things are tied together

We can agree. Snowenoutthere, a college student, wrote eloquently about rejecting this type of nihilism. I don't know who you're arguing with here but you keep trotting this out, a bit like a strawman, which is a..you know what. Anyway there's a separate forum for this whole discussion and I'm probably about to get in trouble. Why don't you share your take on the science there (not the nihilism, we get that).

There's a squirrel imby chilling on the ground, in the shade, sort of like a dog does in the heat. Bit of an odd sight. Must not care about being eaten by a fox atm, the ground coolness is all. This must be getting a bit tough for some of the fur bearing wildlife. Reminds me to keep birdbaths full. 97/82
