  1. For example right in the middle of my deck is right around 11" or so but that could be from some drifting..
  2. We'll see how long this band hangs around for, rgem had like 10" from 4pm on..
  3. Impossible to tell lol To much wind.. Just snowblowed and I would say 6"-10" or so but COOP has final say anyway lol
  4. Yeah I know I lived in Copenhagen last year lol Only for 6 months (2 months of winter)..But I'm like BW I only care about rates, once it's on the ground whatever happens, happens lol
  5. Looks like it might of hit it's northern extent.. Snow starting to pick up some once again..
  6. Rgem next 6 hrs.. Between 4-7 pm little JP just north of me, 1/2" liquid.. Takes it's time moving south..
  7. Just north of me now, can see clearing to the south, light snow overhead.. Band should be back in business around 6-7pm for the finale..
  8. Yeah it looks like that but as the we get closer some of that precipitation has already fallen..
  9. Yeah they both did, here's a couple of overnight runs of the Hrrr
  10. Complete opposite of this morning as you can see some clearing pulaski S, which will change in a little..Still hanging on to the southern edge Imby..Hard to tell how much is on the ground from all the drifting..
  11. Heavy lake snows across Oswego county this afternoon will be brought to an abrupt end early this evening...courtesy of an arctic cold front that is charging south from just the other side of Lake Ontario. Before that occurs though...another 6 to 10 inches of snow will fall over the northern half of Oswego county between 1 PM and 7 PM. As the arctic cold front plows south through the region tonight... it will be marked by a 30-60 min burst of moderate to heavy snow in most locations. For the counties lining the New York shores of Lake Ontario and Erie...the snow will be lake enhanced and will likely lead to nighttime snow accums of 3 to 6 inches. Winter weather advisories are in effect for these areas. Areas outside of these lake enhanced counties should pick up a general 1 to 3 inches of snow. Lower amounts will be found north of the Tug. The other issue tonight...and lasting through the first half of Tuesday...will be bitter cold wind chills east of Lake Ontario. The sub arctic airmass will sent he mercury to between zero and the minus teens for that area...and with winds averaging 10 to 15 mph... that will generate wind chill values of -20 F over Oswego county to as low as -30F for parts of Jefferson and Lewis counties.
  12. Yeah I'll venture out soon for some pics, waiting for it to build up a little since we got off to a slow start lol I still think the band pushes slightly north of me for a little, keeping on the southern fringes, between 6-9pm may be the real show as it comes back south..
  13. Definitely rip city out, not sure if the band will stay stationary or go a little north before coming back south..
  14. .A LAKE EFFECT SNOW BAND WILL AFFECT PARTS OF JEFFERSON...OSWEGO... AND LEWIS COUNTIES... HAZARDS...A lake effect snow band which can rapidly reduce visibility to less than a quarter of a mile. This lake effect snow band is producing extremely heavy snow at the rate of 2 to 3 inches per hour. LOCATION AND MOVEMENT...At 1233 PM EST, a wide band of lake effect snow was streaming in off Lake Ontario, from Oswego to Mannsville east to the Tug Hill and southern Lewis county. The lake effect snow band was intensifying, while remaining nearly stationary. LOCATIONS IMPACTED INCLUDE... Oswego, Sandy Island Beach State Park, Pulaski, Redfield, Selkirk Shores State Park, Highmarket, Mexico Point State Park, Nine Mile Point, Scriba, Richland, New Haven, Mexico, Williamstown, Lyonsdale, Orwell, Sandy Creek, Port Leyden, Lacona, Lyons Falls and Parish. This includes Interstate 81 between exits 33 and 38. SAFETY INFO... Use extra caution if you must travel into or through this lake effect snow band. Rapid changes in visibility and potentially slick roads may lead to accidents. Accidents have already been reported in the area today. Conditions can deteriorate rapidly in winter weather situations. Be prepared for snow or ice covered roads. Slow down and allow extra time to reach your destination.
  15. Dave gettleman "retired" lol Good riddance.. Should never hire a Bostonian to coach a NY/NJ team, probably sabotaged the team on purpose lol
  16. Low confidence in a potential storm system over the weekend. Guidance is now tracking it through the Mid-Atlantic and then out to sea. Have lowered POPs dramatically with this update with just chance snow showers both days. Its quite possible that both days could be dry. Although, the 00Z/12 Canadian-NH guidance is still advertising the idea of widespread snow during this time period. So couldn`t completely remove the threat. Stay tuned, as things could again back the other way.
  17. Rgem has a little something at the end of its run but atm looking relatively weak and a quick hitter..
  18. It was actually 3rd and 4 inside the 40..But clearly they were being conservative..
