    Dammit clogged gage...cleaned it out not to long ago...it was filled almost 3/4 way up. Nearby gages tell me over 2" here total today.

    Just squeezed out a 90° today to keep the streak going, after am low of 72°...those heavier storms missed to my west so 0.06" for day.

    It seems when convective coverage is in question, meso models are often more likely to underdo coverage than overdo. I find that the HRDPS model often does a pretty good job in comparison.

    95° today...Last five days max temps here of 95,92,96,97 and 95. Seems like this heat wave hasn't gotten the attention it deserves from the media...maybe fixation on KNYC ? .

    The slightly drier air from yesterday is gone with temps and dews in the 70's this am...some spots had a shower overnight ...0.01" here.
