  1. 104° ties my highest on record. Seeing lots of 104 readings locally from the Davis stations. Local mesonet short distance down the road also 104°.
  2. No they're not all sited properly, you can usually pick out the problem ones like that one.
  3. Winds more wnw now so dews have dropped some, not that it really matters much . 95/70
  4. Using the ai feature on pws weather, it tells me that July of 2019 was my last 80° minimum temperature .
  5. 81° low here. Pretty rare for me to have a 80°+ low... Even with some of the big heat last several years it didn't happen.
  6. Had about a 3 hr period here where winds went onshore, temp dropped from 97 to 90 then back up to 97 as winds shifted back offshore . Currently 90°.
  7. Made it to 97° here, down to 94° now with a se wind.
  8. June finished here as 5th warmest and 5th driest ( 1.81" ) .
  9. The last month that my station had 5+ inches of rain was Aug 2024. The prior 14 months saw 7 of them exceeding the 5" mark. Really impressed with the suddeness of and now the longevity of this drought.
  10. It's been a pretty pleasant last two weeks with only one day touching 90° here... That's about to change me thinks, 70° low this am.
  11. Highest temp I've recorded at my station is 104° on July 22, 2011.... That day also had my warmest minimum at 84°.... We shall see .
  12. Pretty rare to see nws point and click forecasts of 102-104° forecasted 4-6 days out .
  13. 0.04" today... 1.81" for month. Bring on the heat, go big or go home.
  14. 0.02" here, 1.77" for month and 16.70" for year.
  15. 0.67" event total... Cool high today of 71°.
  16. 0.59" here, was expecting more as usual. Questionable what falls today.
  17. North and South mostly for me also so far...just had some moderate rain so up to 0.23" for day.
  18. Astro spring here was the 2nd warmest in 45 years behind only 2010, also the 2nd driest with 6.75" of precip, only 1995 was drier.
  19. This drought really came out of nowhere... The preceding 12 months to Sept 2024 was about 12" above normal with 60" of precip.
  20. Since this drought started back in Sept 2024, my station is some 28" below normal.
  21. Yeah it's beyond horrible...good luck getting an update on a short term event even though there's an updated time stamp.
