    The lowest level worth looking at in our region is 850. If you're in the valleys and you have decent lift it will be snow. If it's just scattered precip then its probably just drizzle.

    Good luck. You can always make an easy drive to soco gap above 4000ft or head up to cataloochee. Hopefully we can get a well timed phase and get a nice storm out of it!

    Gfs phased just a little too late for the Friday Saturday event. The storm on Wednesday is still close as well. Hopefully the cutoff in the NE is a little weaker and it can climb north.

    Almost a perfectly timed phase for us. Unfortunately it probably just gave us our best solution. 5 hours from now it will change. Hopefully not.

    Its had a few snowy solutions that have been wrong. Checkout the changes at 500mb on the last few runs at day 5.
