  1. The latest rap is ramping up qpf! Now has 1" qpf on the southern border of macon, Jackson, and transylvania counties. It also has 850 temps below freezing here at 8am with snow falling. Will see if that's correct shortly.
  2. 6z models bumped qpf back up. Not gonna lie tho, the cloud cover all night sure sucked. Only dropped down to 40.
  3. Oh yeah! Pure paste with this one. The snow about 10 days ago was all powder.
  4. Same here! We bought a big tube at Walmart the other day to try out . Hopefully we can Tomorrow!
  5. We had peeks of sun this afternoon but it has gotten thick now. When I left Bryson this afternoon it looked clear over towards Cherokee and balsam gap.
  6. Yeah, the models show 1-2" per hour rates during that time. The 18z gfs was a nice improvement over the 12z.
  7. Not sure what to make of gsp anymore. Although, the heavy cloud cover here is very concerning, especially since it's still 50 degrees!
  8. From about 12-3 pm Tomorrow the nam has very heavy snow over the southern mtns. Thinking 4-8 should be a good call.
  9. If I'm chasing 800 miles it's to the Tug for at least 3 feet.
  10. Lol... why not just drive to the mtns which is a lot closer? Most likely will have the same totals.
  11. Rgem bumped qpf totals up. Now has .5 getting into the southern mtns. Probably closer to reality.
  12. It's only showing the total qpf for me but it has close to .5 now for Thursday!
  13. Usually, sometimes they're slow to load.
  14. Most likely waiting for the nws. This is why I quit watching them years ago. Along with the nws forecast.
  15. Sref mean has jumped up to an inch and a half for Franklin. About the same for Asheville.
  16. Along with the WRAL forecast. I'm sure sun angle will get mentioned today too.
  17. Flurries to a light dusting at best for N Ga
  18. I thought it would have been a better run just looking at H5 and H7
