  3. Euro doesn't dig the sw as far south as the gfs and cmc. Expect run to run changes
  4. Sure would! It's been since December 18 that we have had enough snow to pull out the sleds. It's been a rough stretch
  5. Just not a good year east of the Rockies for snow. Of course out west they're setting records!
  6. Unfortunately this has been the norm here for the last 3 years. I'm sure it will over perform too.
  7. We still have almost 3 months left for most of the mtns and even may for the highest elevations.
  8. I guess our goal in the southern mtns can be to exceed 100" of rain in a year again. Great times!!
  9. You can always take a ride over to Fontana dam and take a drive on the dragon's tail or cherohala skyway.
  10. Anytime! I'm not sure we're you're staying in Maggie, but if you take 19west towards Cherokee, Bryson city. At the top of the mtn just a few miles up from tube world is soco gap. You can turn left onto the parkway which is closed but its 4500' and a great sledding hill. You should be good for an inch or possibly 2 there overnight. If you want a beautiful drive back home take 19w to 74 w and follow that around Fontana lake, through the nantahala gorge and ocoee gorge. This will take you into SE Tennessee not too far from Chattanooga.
  11. Good to see you finally got some snow. I know y'all have been screwed over the years
  12. Right before you cross intonNC coming up 441 take a right on to106 and follow it 15 miles up to Highlands. Once in Highlands you can play in the snow then take 64 west to Franklin. Beautiful drive, you will love it.
  13. Just go to Highlands. Several inches on the ground there. It's a lot closer to Greenville
  14. Several inches on the ground in Highlands if you want to see snow. The drive from Franklin to Highlands through the Cullasaja gorge is one of the best ones you will find this side of the Rockies!
  15. 64 between Highlands and Cashiers is closed due to snow. Great job NWS.
  16. The best lift was just east of the divide. Highlands, glenville, Cashiers, toxaway were the best spots.
  17. And Arizona is the new Alaska. Trough is in the west, it happens some years.
