Starting to pile up a lot of support for an overhead track. The door for a clean snowstorm is getting awful close to closing for a lot of us. On the other hand, it also looks like a lot of us are going to get more than a little snow. Hard to complain there. The heater continues
The heater may just be starting to heat up!!

I melted in 2009-2010 because it was the first and only winter I didn’t live here….
That is remarkably unfortunate!

Looks like he's in Columbia now.
Did you move back to Cockeysville?

Early play by play on 0z GFS is absolutely horrendous so far.

Solid cold leading in. Only around 20 for the high on Saturday on most models. Typically warmer Euro is also very cold.

I think that was December 30, 2000.
Same winter as March 2001 and a few months earlier. I was told that was supposed to be a big one, something like 8-12”.
Heavy snow warning for 6-10. Horrible bust. Personally I had a bad feeling about this one hours before it was obvious to the on air mets this would bust. You could clearly see how things were not coming together by late evening. Radar returns were developing well offshore and heading due north towards New York and New England. Philadelphia was just far enough east to get in on good snow totals as well. Ravens beat Denver in the first round of the playoffs under clear cold skies on the road to their first Superbowl victory.

The same people come out of the woodwork. Not a factor in my post actually.
You guys caught me at an unusual time. Normally I wouldn't engage this stuff and it's got me wondering that if the first thing you do after waking up is visiting the long-range thread on a weather forum that might be ominous indications of some neglect elsewhere in life. Again I don't know we cannot self regulate each other we all have the same faults. Two days man.
First thing I do in thr morning is take a dump!! Then I look at the long range thread. You were close though.

You are just an asshat. Nothing more... our birthdays are two days apart man.
The next upcoming 3 weeks of solid winter has got you a little irritated.

I think we're going to do really well with this one. 4-6 for us. Fingers crossed.

You're on a bit of a panic this morning. Worst case scenario you get at least 2. I know the shutout on Monday was tough but your move to Monkton will benefit you in the long run.

There was an event a couple days after Christmas in 1990 that was a big time overachiever. We were in a different pattern then but the system may have been similar to what is coming tomorrow night. Forecast was for 1-3/2-4 but what happened instead was double and triple that amount. Cold Temps and good ratios along with banding produced very heavy snowfall rates over a 4-6 hour period. Maybe this does the same.

Our mid-January KU will be an Archambault event; winter is over after it.
Maybe but that outcome doesn't match Howard's analog package.

We have the best January shaping up since 2014. You would think we would have less hostility in here lol.

In all seriousness I am drained from this event already. I didn't even stay up for the Euro.
