MLI tied the record high today with 84. Only got down to 67 last night/this morning here.
As expected a lot of color was stripped from the trees the past few days. Now mostly oaks with the best color.
Looking like widespread 40-50mph southerly winds on Wednesday ahead of the incoming cold front. That should make a big dent in what's left of the fall foliage.
Trees are definitely starting to turn much faster now. Many trees that were mostly green last week are fully turned already.
The side yard tree here did this in just two days.
We've had two hard freezes here but there's still a ton of bugs around. The ladybugs have gone apeshit over the past few days, worse than I've ever seen.
Looks like Sante Fe around here. And we were one of the lucky ones a few weeks back to get over a half inch. Pretty sad two month stretch we have here.
