  3. Seems like southeast Canada (Quebec/Montreal) does pretty well with t-storms despite the latitude?
  4. Today is the 67th anniversary of our greatest tornado ever.
  5. lots of lightning with that line that went thru Portland earlier

  8. I’d take the August 2000 nocturnal supercell about 15 miles further north
  9. A repeat of 1954 would be an unbelievable event for here

  12. I remember the day of the Springfield tornado we got a vicious thunderstorm and it wasn’t until well after sunset. Not implying the two situations are comparable though
  13. In all my time on this board I’ve not seen less enthusiasm for a severe threat from the board participants as this. I suspect it’s more a case of “once bitten, twice shy” though. And nothing has happened YET either

  17. FWIW the 10am Boston forecast discussion seems to say game on for most of us later on. Even mentioned the enhanced risk extended East into NE MA

  22. Memorial Day will be here soon. That usually coincides in a severe threat somewhere in metro west Boston
