Lightning strikes increasing again 

At least we should get some thunder and lightning. Nothing too destructive 

Lightning strikes decreasing as it moves into eastern MA

Warm fronts always disappoint me (never get this far north in time) This morning and Saturday being the two latest examples but to be fair this latest one wasn’t forecasted to do so

Man..You kind of get the sense we’re back in a regime of extremely boring weather…But at least we’ll dry out for a while I guess  

The south coast seems to be the bullseye this summer.. 

FWIW KBOX seems pretty bullish on at least strong t-storms from midnight to 7am. Exact locations and places TBD obviously

That's my inclination. It is interesting to note though (which Ryan mentioned earlier) is the NAM keeps it quite unstable to the river well into the overnight. Obviously nocturnal severe is extremely difficult in these parts, but that potential tends to be higher in August and we do have somewhat steep lapse rates which is a HUGE change from guidance.

Keep everything slow so Sunday we can get into the fun and everyone benefits lol

The way work is going lately I hope an EF0 knocks out my power for about 8 hours 

Could this potentially turn into one of those deals where months later it’s determined the low had acquired some tropical characteristics and was actually a depression/low end storm? I think this happened just a couple of years ago 

More storms forming in E MA. Maybe time for a second Cape tornado on the day lol
