yup...
but tonight though could be pretty interesting. Could see some nasty storms if that cluster verifies tonight.
NWS Boston mentions this. An overnight light show would be appreciated

Walked to Mendenhall glacier today and worked up a small sweat. Not a cloud in the sky and 75 degrees

lol they are like pancake style hail stones. Large and flat.
There are no other ball-shaped objects they could’ve used to get the point across?

Reminds me of the October derecho a few years ago. All hell unleashed for about 10 minutes and then it was just over….

As soon as it started to pour the thunder and lightning seem to have abated a bit

Holy crap this storm means business! Loudest thunder I can remember recently and scary lightning

-
Possibly derecho in the south today. That would have been groovy up here

Holland is top notch I’ve heard. We’re going via Princess cruises out of Seattle

Regardless of rainfall this is probably the June with the darkest mornings I can recall

Headed to the west coast for a cruise to Alaska later this week. It’s difficult to imagine even cooler summer weather than what we’ve been experiencing.

I can’t believe I need a lamp to see my keyboard the second week of June. That kind of blows….

I can only imagine what the “Year without a summer” was like

Probably a dumb question but how does smoke from a fire hundreds of miles to the north and east of here retrograde back to the east coast? You would think steering currents would normally push it east or at least north?

Ping pong sized hail near Saratoga Springs. That’s big boy hail
