Is the prolonged stall scenario still In play with this?

Save that for "severe" season.
Oh with severe I fully expect to be a jilted lover each time

I don’t want to say things look bad but I bought a new toaster today and put it on a very rickety shelf above my bathtub

Would be the perfect coup de Grace for this lousy winter as currently modeled for coastal folks

Glad it’s not the N Korean model. That could be trouble

For my part, I have no interest in a 5-10” deal at this point. I’d rather get blanked and claim a futility record, thereby setting a very low hurdle for future years to surmount. A 20”+ deal is a different matter though. Back up the truck for that.
And 5-10 will likely disappear on the ground about three days later

If neither of these storms works out locally I’m ready for my low 50’s and dim sun till June

I’m not completely surprised we’ve had a mediocre winter. As others have mentioned we were/are due for a “regression to the mean”. I was getting 1-2 foot storms multiple times a season and I knew that wasn’t typical for here

At least the Bruins won again

At least the Bruins have had an exciting day

There might be a decent little pocket of convection which traverses West Virginia, Maryland, Delaware, and maybe southern New Jersey. Depending how robust and organized this could certainly rob a quite a bit of moisture like Ullmark robbed the Flames the other night.
Are you going to follow the severe weather outbreak in the south this evening?

Ready to move onto 3 months of cloudy and drizzle, aka spring

This is the type of winter when I need to see 24” on the clowns to realize 4”. Otherwise, it’s a nonevent. Some winters just have rotten personalities. This is one of them.
This winter is a vengeful ex girlfriend

Still haven’t had a storm deliver more than 3 inches this year here. Pretty incredible

There are a lot of CT posters who would gladly take that much. Anything over 4" snowfall and I'll be happy because my kid and his friends have had very short sledding windows. Now we have the ice base and some snow on top would be awesome. I'll track storms a week out but I generally don't get too invested until inside of 72 hours. If this ends up being pedestrian it's by no means a bust, to me, because the big potential, still needed a lot of moving parts to come together. To me "busts" only occur inside of 48 hours.
Meh..3-6 is like kissing your sister but I understand mine is likely the minority opinion..if I had kids like you I might look at it differently to be honest
-
If 3-6 is the ceiling for this storm I think I’d rather chase the futility record…Or second least snowiest all time whatever it turns out to be..
