  1. We did bust warm on the final day (even setting a daily record at IAD), but that's still not enough to change the contest. Here are the final standings and @tplbge trophy. Congratulations!
  2. BWI: 12/1 DCA: 12/4 IAD: 11/20 RIC: 12/4 Tiebreaker: 4.25”
  3. I suppose you can root for a ten degree positive bust on Monday, but otherwise, I have @tplbge trophy ready for Tuesday.
  4. I haven’t been following too closely IMBY but we may need to revive this thread for Dorian.
  5. Heh, I just noticed that. Somehow every possible number was picked at IAD... except 100.
  6. We got close today (and set daily records at the airports), but no changes to the max numbers for the contest.
  7. Tuesday could be interesting (especially for RIC) if it trends just a bit warmer.
  8. BWI is currently tied for 10th hottest July (and 10th hottest month). That’s probably going to be an outright win for 10th (or possibly even a tie for 9th) after today. Four of BWI’s top ten hottest July’s (and top ten hottest months) have occurred in this decade.
  9. This actually looks pretty good for next winter though
  10. Eliminated from winning are: MN Transplant GATECH WxWatcher007 nw baltimore wx showmethesnow weather53 Eastcoast NPZ LP08 RodneyS frd nj2va
  11. @tplbge takes the lead, with @Eskimo Joe and @MN Transplant tied for second.
  12. NWS is calling for 99 at DCA and IAD, and 101 at RIC, so there’s a good chance the leaderboard will be different by tomorrow evening.
  13. I think @RodneyS and @EastCoast NPZ are the only ones mathematically eliminated.
  14. Here's what I have for the year so far: BWI: 100 DCA: 97 IAD: 98 RIC: 99 We currently have a tie between @WEATHER53 and @LP08 Even the tiebreaker is a tie for them- WEATHER53 forecasted 98 at SBY, actual is 97; LP08 forecasted 98 at HGR, actual is 97.
  15. Looking ahead... When is a good time to transplant an Alberta Spruce in this region? I’m thinking around November? I moved a Weeping Cherry last year in January and it turned out fine, but since the spruce never goes dormant idk if winter is appropriate.
  16. Snowfall contest should be fun- can I put some of you down for a shutout ahead of time?
  17. You may be right, I haven’t checked it in the last few weeks. I’ll just wait until after the weekend to check everything and post an updated spreadsheet.
  18. Good call. This weekend looks like it’s going to make this contest interesting.
  19. This is the craziest hailstorm i have ever seen!! Quarter sized!!
  20. @yoda It's definitely 96 as it's both in the updated Daily and Monthly Climate data now.
