  1. Will be there next week. We have done it on the 4th before and it was a bit too much excitement so there at least some people more boring than you.
  2. Unvaccinated doesnt mean there isn't some level of immunity. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G935A using Tapatalk
  3. Just pulled off a pork butt after a 19 hour cook. My butt and the pork's are now resting. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G935A using Tapatalk
  4. Today is the ninth anniversary of the big outbreak that included the Henryville tornado. The funnel cloud that eventually became that tornado passed about 5 miles to my south. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G935A using Tapatalk
  5. Look on the bright side, March mud brings April tornadoes, or something like that. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G935A using Tapatalk
  6. Same here. Starting to hear the B word thrown around. Doubt it meets strict criteria but close enough we might get some pretty sizable drifts. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G935A using Tapatalk
  7. Everyone biting hard on it down here. LMK saying they might have to drop to Advisories NW. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G935A using Tapatalk
  8. LMK had southern indiana at 2 to 5. Local stations wont make a call before 12 to 18 out, change it 5 times and then declare victory. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G935A using Tapatalk
  9. I approve this message. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G935A using Tapatalk

  11. I was in the sweet spot in 2004. It took a week for the plows to get by my house. One of the neighbors had an excavating business and used a loader to push open one lane but if you met anyone one of you was going to have a long way to back up. I was off from work so it was a lot of fun. We had about the same in March of 96. Very heavy wet snow that brought down about every cedar in the county. It looked like a tornado had been through with miles of road full of trees and power lines. Some were without power for 3 or 4 weeks although I was very lucky and it was just a few days. I measured 30 inches on the hood of my truck after it was over but of course there was major compaction. The 78 blizzard would round out my top 3 and I dont know if I could really pick between them. I guess I will call it a 3 way tie. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G935A using Tapatalk
  12. Me too! The last two winters combined. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G935A using Tapatalk
  13. Pro tip: Shovel early and often. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G935A using Tapatalk
  14. Hope buckeye is doing well and he starts posting again soon. Won't be winter without him. Dusting here and now 31 and rain. Maybe we pull off a Christmas miracle. Good luck to the Ohio crew. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G935A using Tapatalk
  15. Everything will get shut down after the election. I dont know how bad it would have to be to do it before then, probably bodies laying in the street. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G935A using Tapatalk

  17. We didnt have trees close enough to fall on the roof but Ike did make me get a new roof as we lost big sections of shingles. 81 mph peak gust and it blew close to that all day. I think we were without power for 2 or 3 days. It was pretty cool as I was out in it all day but it was a real PIA after. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G935A using Tapatalk
  18. No one is arguing the merits of testing. You are talking about going from a half million tests per day to tens of millions of tests per day. I hope it can be done but it seems a little pie in the sky to me. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G935A using Tapatalk
  19. With all the assymptomatic cases it may be like trying to place a hurricane warning on the US coast based on one ship report in the Leeward Islands. I have my doubts there will ever be enough tests or people to run down every contact. We are about 6 weeks into social distancing and almost as long into the shut down and still getting record numbers. Yeah, there are more tests but still getting that many positives is concerning. 20. On the bad news front all of these assymptamatic cases and maybe even mild cases may be able to get it again this fall. Nothing is known for sure yet but just based on other coronavirus infections the severity of the disease may be tied to immune response down the road. 2 to 3 years in severe cases and 2 to 3 months possibly in mild or assymptomatic cases. 21. The 1200 was a stimulus payment. The enhanced unemployment insurance also gives an extra 600 per week on top of regular unemployment for 4 months. A very large percentage will be making more on unemployment than their regular salary with less expense as far as gas and what not. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G935A using Tapatalk
  22. Good point. Those areas east of the Rockies are pretty socially isolated anyway and usually it's a pretty good drive to get anything. The SE is a bit worrying however. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G935A using Tapatalk
  23. According to the Jerusalem Post an Israeli doctor working in Italy reported that patients over 60 are no longer allowed to be put on ventilators. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G935A using Tapatalk
  24. If it isn't worse than 2009 then it will be because of the measures being taken. 61,000,000 infections on 2009. A conservative estimate of that many infections with this virus would result in 610,000 deaths. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G935A using Tapatalk
  25. From PAH Evansville and Paducah will finish the 2019-2020 winter season (Dec-Feb) with no measurable snow. First time on record for Evansville this has occurred. Tied least snowy winter for Paducah, last set in 1991-1992. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G935A using Tapatalk
