  1. interesting, I'm at 38.5/37 - temp very dependent on rates - 2 miles north of I-85 near DT Greenville - mixing occurs with higher precip rates - precip lightens and the temp can rise 1/2 degree and mixing stops
  2. why are parts of the Charlotte metro in the mid-40's?
  3. that's interesting - I'm at 975 feet just south of DT Greenville - my temp is now the lowest since MN at 38.6/37 edit: precip rates really drive the temps here
  4. 39.5/37 temp very slowly falling; light rain
  5. that's impressive - thank you for the update
  6. 39.7/37 light rain with definite mixing with higher precip rates
  7. temps/DP's rising a bit 39.3/37, light rain
  8. Chris Justus lives in the TR area (pretty sure) - maybe he has a bit of backyard bias

  10. mod sleet and 42 here near DT Greenville
  11. bingo...and I live in the sleet capital of the US...never experienced so much sleet since I moved here...live near I85 which is normally the dividing line between liquid/frozen precip (in marginal CAD events)...this storm has potential...
  12. 33.6/32 light to mod rain (if only a little colder...)
  13. low of only 32.5 under a freeze warning overnight - I'm sure the outer suburbs/cities were 32 or below
  14. near DT Greenville, Halloween forecast is 73/58 (30% chance of rain after midnight) - to me, this is perfect - should be in the mid-60's ToT time several years ago (last year?), I had requests for bottled water instead of candy - never experienced such a warm/humid Halloween
  15. down to 47.7 - predicting about 39 here
  16. high of 58.2 today - forecasted low of 39 tonight with a frost advisory - I'm usually the last location to freeze in Upstate SC (with the exception of Oconee County)
  17. low of 42.2 near DT Greenville, SC - brisk wind and feels like winter - less than 10 days ago, it was still summer here with high humidity
  18. crazy rainfall rates here - approaching 4 inches storm total
  19. amazing! how many 90 degree days has Columbia experienced this summer/year? I can't imagine living in that furnace the "half-backs" in Asheville/Western NC must be wondering if they still live in Florida LOL
