    I don't remember the exact dates but around Sept./Oct. of that year. I remember sitting in the HS parking lot at dismissal and while watching RadarScope saw a suspicious rotation pass over the football field. The parking lots full, cars were all over the main road in front of the school double parked. Probably the worst dismissal pick up ever with my kids in school. I live only 1/4 mile from the school, and it took us 20 min to get home.

    Parents in Frederick Co. remember this image from Fall 2021. We are more than fine with a 3 hr. early dismissal up here.

    FCPS MD just announced a 3 hr early dismissal. Just picked my youngest up, she only has one block at the HS this semester as she had dual enrollment. I am glad they did this though. The last time we had a system come through back in 2021 there were Elementary kids who took busses stranded at their schools due to flooding on the routes. Also don't think I would want my kid on a high profile cheese wagon in the projected winds.

    Probably had about .25” of measurable snow. Rain is almost at an inch currently. Temp is 33 and winds have picked up.

    30 and sleet/rain. Think things will start getting quite slick out. Would have like to have kept the snow.

    Yep traps all the cold in the winter and all the smog in the summer.

    30.2/29 Seeing as there is some snow on the ground and is pretty to see, going to get my kid to do some snow day baking. Something with chocolate and cherries.

    Just drove up to pick up the kid from her morning shift. Roads are mainly just wet. And the typical race track speeding and lane changing horrible driving on 15 is normal.

    It's coming. I just changed over from sleet about 5 min ago.

    Should be coming my way soon then. Currently only have a covering of sleet pellets on my deck and wet roads. 30 here also.

    Not doing anything that I can see but there is some dusting out on the deck. Just got up to take the kid to work.

    Thanks for this info. My kid works at the skate rink in Frederick and has a morning shift I have to get her to.

    24.4 and my left leg is acting up. And the cat is singing the song of his people downstairs at 12:50 am. I think both of those things are telling me something.

    26.4/22 and saw an update to the warning timeline from 10am to 10pm changed to 7 am to 7pm

    Sun went down and the temp really dropped. 31/21here after a high of 37.

    33.8/21 Was out getting gas and took the Ms./Miss J's with me. It was quite cold at 9 this morning.

    36/20 And I was out and about today. With that wind kicking up this afternoon I think today was by far the coldest feeling day this winter.

    The Brine is down in the neighborhood. Mind you only on the single family county designated roads. I am in a Townhouse and my small bit of road is considered rural and does not get county maintenance.

    Yeah, I have a friend over in NE Loudoun Co who still follows him. Every time he mentions him, I just change the subject. Have spent to many hours of my life telling him to unfollow.
