I was living in Randallstown, MD at the time & remember it well. Lots of snow & no school for week..
The KU book details the shift in the track which to it right over NJ.
Amongst other things, the NWS has me at 7 to 13 inches, then ice. This forecast covers from central Delaware to NW NJ. Makes no sense, this should be broken into several different zones. They usually do that for these situations
Regardless of which models are right, it appears we're in for a general 6 to 12 inch snowfall before any mix/change.
I cannot believe that so many are miserable about that.
Measured a touch over 3 inches. Not even an inch when I went to bed last night, so I guess there was some back building.
Short of the 5 to 8 forecast, but I consider it a win considering the way things looked around 11pm last night.
Measured 1.25 at 640AM. I'll take it! A win as far as I'm concerned.
Outside with the dog, beautiful fluff, air completely still, snow falling and 23 degrees. Great start to a Saturday!
