Well regardless of temp hopefully it turns out to be a restful and fun vaca. In the MA's eyes (not just the board, the general population) they did not steal anything. They consider it eminent domain. Most people in the MA live in a bubble and think everywhere else is just like their area. If they feel like travelling to the panhandle of MD then its now part of the MA.
I am going to predict it does not come to that...just model talk. GFS could be in kick the can down the road mode. The MA board loves them some Deep Creek.
Heck, with the ridge in that position basically covering the top half of the US, a westerly wind, KPIT might have to think about triple digit possibilities.
They just extended it. Covid rising in most states.

Biggest change from 0Z is next weekend into the following week. Not ridge dominated but we lose the cooling trough it had there before. But yes lots of pleasant nights on the GFS. It sends any heat wave concerns into August (if ever).
With the winds blowing from the west it may be warm but not as warm as the HIA. I see the trough poking down to save us for Thursday I believe. Wed was a bit hot. (Edit-Thursday still hot at the beach being east of the front.)
GFS is rolling. Big watch on whether it will be 100+ degrees or under 80 next week around this time. The GFS has offered both options the last 24-36 hours.
