  1. MJS, ITT other Lanco posters are the problem children right now. D2's among us.
  2. Blizz wants to rid himself of the D1. As MJS said, pure rainer this weekend.
  3. Low of 28 here. Up into the mid 30's now. Maybe the last freezing temp this year.
  4. Have to get you out of D1 and ITT/MJS need it to avoid a D2 to start the New Year. Northeast Drought Summary A one-category improvement was made to portions of western Maryland and West Virginia which received near one inch of precipitation this past week. Following the major drought that began in July and peaked later in September, frequent precipitation along with seasonably cooler temperatures have led to continued drought improvement across the Central Appalachians. Eastern Massachusetts and Rhode Island also benefited from recent precipitation and a one-category improvement was made to this region, closely following guidance from the NDMC short-term drought blend and 90-day SPI. Although precipitation was lighter (0.5 inch or less, liquid equivalent) this past week across Connecticut, southeastern New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, and northeastern Maryland, a reassessment of SPIs at various time scales and lack of ground impacts led to a one-category improvement for portions of these states. 5. Well something weird, it does not show that now. I must have had the wrong one when I was viewing, embarrassing. My Bad. Edit-It was HGR that made mid 40's.
  6. MDT failed in this endeavor. Made it to 42 where I was in Dillsburg. 40 in Rou. LNS bolted into the mid 40's. This weekend looks undesirable weather wise. Rain and 40's Sat, rain and 60's Sun.
  7. I did not see any stats on it but did see the NWS definition is at least 1" on the ground at 7AM re: 1/2" is not a White Christmas in their records. White Christmas at MDT since 1970 that cheats and does not require 1" https://www.ydr.com/story/news/2024/12/23/how-many-times-has-a-white-christmas-happened-in-york-county-pa/76948948007/
  8. Merry Christmas Weather Enthusiasts. 36 at KROU.
  9. Blizz almost got a Christmas present but cold air not established yet. A few days in the 50's and 60's next week.
  10. 43 and a nice cloud deck/christmas feeling out last min shopping. Stores are a lot less busy than I expected. Many major stores closing at 6 so I guess people are done with shopping.
  11. MDT has a shot to stay below 40 tomorrow. That was a very common occurrence in the past until 2011 when the faucet shut off only happening 3 times in the next 13 years. It happened 8 of the 10 1960's years. The two years it did not stay below 40 in the 1960's, it got into the 60's.
  12. Not sure if we got anything here earlier but no accums down here. 26 and partly cloudy. Merry Christmas Eve
  13. What appear to be the NWS numbers from last night. Lowest on this list was 4, two stations held at 12. HGR-12 CXY-12 MDT-10 THV-8 LNS-8 AOO-8 MUI-6 IPT-4
  14. We are on a heater over here. Making a run for freezing. Up to 28 now.
  15. THV only got to 8 last night. They are losing their touch.
  16. 14 for the low here (current temp). Rgem was only off by about 15 degrees.
  17. Eb midnighters. A mild 19 compared to the other readings.
  18. Seems like elevation and some wind direction but also the deepest cold has moved north east of us over here. Hgr holding at 21 or 22. 21 here now. Dp 10. Our dp this am was 6. Aoo dropped back down to 15. Cowboys kicker and punter our their best weapons. Lol
  19. Going in opposite directions. We are up to 22 which is only 2 from our high for the day which happened over 6 hours ago. Inversion city. AOO has risen 3-4 degrees in the last 30 min.
  20. We got down to 17 at 6PM, it is up to 20 now. Rgem holding tight with its negatives for the LSV tonight. HRRR seems like a nice middle ground of 8-14 for the LSV. Definitely an Easter favored night. Rgem is 7 too low for here right now saying we should be 13.
