  1. Yeah, just one lane which is part of the issue there and all 3 have parking in the circle. I have to Adamstown a lot and figured you meant the route 30 abbott. Lol
  2. That is UTZ in the Upper right of the pic. In what would likely be the most controversial of the options, alternative 2 would replace the intersection with a two-lane roundabout. While the most expensive option, at $2.926 million, alternative 2 showed the greatest benefit to traffic safety and congestion, according to the presentation. This option would also have the highest impact on surrounding properties, with eight properties displaced by the construction. By 2045, a roundabout would cut congestion to less than half of the estimated delays from any of the other proposals, according to the numbers shared in the presentation. At peak p.m. congestion by 2045, the estimated delays per vehicle would only be around 6 seconds. Planners found that a two-lane roundabout had significant improvements over a single-lane roundabout, Caba said.
  3. The ones I deal with regularly (Gettysburg, New Oxford and Abbottstown) the people act like it is a stop and it causes some confusion. People have to get used to pulling out and merging before they become really beneficial. The Villages in Florida has 45 of them so people need to get their training here before moving.
  4. Speaking of drivers causing traffic, they are thinking of putting some circles/roundabouts in your area to try and fix the issues.
  5. Some models have lows near 15 as the trough is positioned differently on them... so still an open case.
  6. 34 this Am. Temps went up a few notches on some suites for the White Out. Icon and Euro still in the 20's but other suites, including all mesos I saw, suggest low 30's now. Zone actually went down 1 degree.
  7. AIE had their meeting in Sept. Are they having another one?
  8. Made to 58 today. Some of the nws sites got 59 or 60
  9. MUI, CXY and LNS all well into the 50's. MDT boasting a 45. 57 at Rou. Edit, CXY is now 12 degrees higher than MDT.
  10. Late Nooners. Partly cloudy and 55. Lots of upper 50's in Adams county.
  11. The Atlantic saves us from a torchmas on the GFS. The country is in the process of being routed of almost all cold air but we in South PA hold on to stay in the upper 30's and 40's with some light frozen precip in NE PA.
  12. The GFS has a rain shower over me. LOL . Mid to upper 30's on the GFS and CMC.
  13. The piece of energy coming from the Upper Mid West is dying/transferring as it gets closer to the ocean low/front.
  14. Rgem not buying it. Has the Ocean low more organized and subsidence keeps us dry.
  15. Seems like it has gone down a slight bit to $700-$1-00 a night
  16. RGEM and HRRR suggest you get near the MDT daily record of 60 today. Seems unlikely MDT gets there.
  17. If you look at each teams top individual performers on offense it is very even except one differentiator; receiving/Warren. Both Qb's are running threats and have thrown for very similar yard , Int and TD totals. Both running games featured 1500-1700 yards from their top two non QB runners. PSU's receiving stats are much more focused on 4-5 people while SMU spread it out among 8. One can discuss strength of opponent but stats are stats so paper an very even matchup. .
  18. I do not have gusts but CMC, GFS and Euro all have the high 27-30 and winds 5-10ish..maybe 15.
  19. I am sure SMU would love it to be warmer, but If PSU goes in thinking the game is theirs before it begins, because of the temp, they could get run out of the building by the SMU QB. Last Jan Dallas had a high of 22 and a low of 11. MDT could not get that low any day last winter. Playing when it is near 30 degrees is actually not too shabby.
  20. The allure of HH GFS runs is basically gone at this point.
  21. I called them and they said some guy from Williamsport called and complained.
