Did not matter what conference you were, being home meant the world in the first round of games Clemson BYR FAR (IMO) had the best showing of the roads teams. Saw someone say Tenn did not fold. Well the fold was coming. Clemson was 1 yard away from making it a one score game and could not punch it in. Indiana off the mat a bit after watching the SEC and ACC get blown out of road games yesterday. In the end TN looked as bad as SMU to me.

5 loss team that snuck out two wins against inferior teams by a field goal. They were just as close to not qualifying for a bowl.

The road teams have not been truly competitive yet....Clemson the closest. These kids are not NFL players so I bet some of this is the fear factor of playing in someone else's yard.

Coldest night of the season may be on tap for some tonight especially father west as I am still not buying severe cold for westers on Monday AM. Already down to 22 here.

Gonna take my licks on this as I thought SMU would make it a game. That was not the same team I thought would be out there. Still think Boise is a good team though so I get a chance at redemption or more embarrassment. Good does not mean they win but they are The Greatest Show On Turf good when clicking. Their defense is not as good as their O.
