Some of the snows maps were way too high but that was a general assumption coming into this. 10:1 maps were way too high but Kuch was in many areas as well. But I agree, the models did a generally good job in location once they moved to the side that snow was going to happen for some.

D0 on Thursday? Seems consensus for Sat White Out right now is dry and seasonably cold. 25-30 game time. Icon a bit colder.

KITT may hit 50 three days this week (and maybe one 60)....depends on how warm it can get before midnight tonight.

Why would a guy give up his playoff run? I guess because he is afraid he misses open slots but this HAS to change. If it were just the playoff teams it is bad enough but teams dropping out of bowls is beyond ridiculous. Imagine if the NBA opened up free agency before the NBA playoffs started? That is what this is.

Portal nonsense is so frustrating. Pribula give up his chance to be in the playoffs. Teams are turning down bowls due to lack of players. I really want the time of a team being a team to come back.

Yes, just 10 min to my east stays snow a lot longer. You have fortifications. I have a direct path from Waynesboro VA into Waynesboro PA.

Back to graupel. 1.25" of snow and about .15" of rain so far. 34 degrees.

Eyeballing about 1" on the grass and roofs. Roads just wet except a bit of slush. 32 degrees

HGR spiked to 35 or 36 before the heavier rates pulled cold air down. Making for a nice scene in laying on no road areas. Close to Sn+.

Up to 34/29 here. Dps always higher here when atmosphere trying to moisten (elevation) 11am update. Some light rain falling. Would probably change to snow with heavier precip.

The accum map actually regressed for SE Adams county (from 6Z). But to me it pretty much held serve.

I do at Penn Mar Park (not hilltop) and nothing falling there Do not see anything at Liberty either.

We start off as snow here but in that specific picture, it has changed to rain. It/thermals charges right up between Blue Ridge Summit and Whitetail. Speaking of skiing, Liberty and Whitetail going to try and open the 20th but I was told it "may" not happen as of now due to the warmth and rain next week. Roundtop is opening today.
