  1. PS- Bama should be gone. Here is how I would do the playoffs. 1-Oregon (defense very questionable though. Two teams in the playoffs have scored more than 30 each on them) 2-Boise (good chance GA gets this spot and Boise is 3 but I think Boise is arguably the best team in the nation as can be argued for several teams) 3-GA 4-AZ State 5-Texas 6-ND (beat 4 ranked teams) 7-OSU 8-PSU (Lost to OSU recently) 9-TN 10-Clemson 11-IN 12-SMU
  2. Probably overdone but the warmth early week and the cold later week are probably smoothed out too much on the zones. Some warmer locales may hit 60 three days this week (counting today) and would not surprise me to see some 70's just south of us. Then quite cold Fri/Sat Am has been advertised for several days now. The good ole negative zero over Chambersburg.
  3. 43 this AM. Elevation takes it on the chops again for the season. Lots of 30's at NWS airports. I thought Oregon got a lot of the calls last night. Good to see a game with few penalties but outcome may have been different if calls were more even.
  4. I am not sure I remember one holding call on either team. Oregon's WR screens are really bad.
  5. The zone forecasts are often automated. The met's do not sit down and think through each forecast over a several mile period. "I will give Rouzerville a 56 today but Marysville is only going to get to 55." They do not have time for that BUT they do approve the AI/automated edits.
  6. Clouds/rain may be the one limiting factor to push toward real crazy highs. GFS has MDT sitting at 60 at 1Am Wed. With that said GFS 12 and 18Z much colder next Friday AM so some good news for cold gang.
  7. How long until he jumps on the 60's bandwagon for Tue and/or Wed (maybe both!)? Carpet and Tile guys may need to go back to their original forecast. Edit-just realized he already has 60 on his Tue range/point and click.
  8. Thanks for the reminder! You can also check out the GFS 300+ hours re: bolded.
  9. Rgem and the hrrr are mid 50's. I will go with the models over the ai point and click. Up to 42 here now.
  10. Managed to spike to 40 here in rou. Warmer higher up as it is 42 up the hill in pen mar. It is almost almost totally sunny here which is a big part of the spike. Someone may grab a 55-60 tomorrow.
  11. Northers holding on to the cold. Just checked WU and stations are 36-42 down here. Nws stations 36-38. 37 in rou.
  12. Indeed the CMC is the hope for cold with a much deeper trough/avocado next weekend. Large differences between it and GFS/EC. Since DT is Captain EC he cant now like his "Winter is here" post from earlier this week.
  13. I do not see back to the freezer but it chills down some then warms up again. GFS is an ebb and flow highs in the 40's and 50's much of the rest of the run. After today, only one day staying in the 30's...this coming Thursday. For now, I clicked Lanco for P&C and see 3 days in the 50s and one day in the upper 50's.
  14. GFS, CMC, EC. EC is 55-60, GFS-CMC upper 50's to low 60's.
  15. This is AI generated. I expect two days of 57-62ish with one of those coming early in the day...a MJS overnight high.
  16. 26 this Am as Team Warm marches toward getting their goods pushing 40's today then 50's and 60's for a few days (maybe hold upper 40's Mon.)
  17. Boise State. Generational level running game and decent in other areas. Gonzaga of football. Rb has a shot to pass Barry Sanders for all time record. Edit-their amateur level play calling let UNLV hang around.
  18. Havertown? Why not Haver some free mob gambling money. What is amazing is that 3 other NBA officials went to that same high school.
