  1. It is indeed. He refed the Brawl game as well so maybe this was the game.
  2. Certain people got really mad at me for punting Dec mid-month 4-5 years ago. They were wrong and it was a full on punt but it is only the 6th right now.
  3. The one thing I will say about the GFS is that we never go full on frontal torch. May get into the 60's next week but shallow troughs keep rolling through and cooling down the area so that the eb and flow of the ridges coming through do not make it too warm. With that said, this look is not cold in my definition so lots of 40's and 50's for highs. Getting literal there is only one day (after today) that MDT stays below 40 through Dec 20th.
  4. Late nooners...30 and still snowing albeit lightly. Snowing non stop for over 4 hours now.
  5. This has been a constant for us over here. We should have roads covered at this point (just slowed down though). The sun does its work any time of the year.
  6. I was just outside and it is almost totally calm here. I am sure some minor winds still to come. I saw MDT is banging 15ish. Some light snow falling right now.
  7. We still need the rain coming with the storm next week
  8. You cracked it, bedroom humor scores higher than bathroom humor.
  9. Sorry if I relayed that info wrong. It was peaked sometime there around lunch then an eventual slow drop off of sustained winds down under 20 by 7PM...on the HRRR I looked at. The peak lasted 1-2 hours. I would expect gusts all afternoon.
  10. Now MDT is make a bit of a resurgence to near where they were at Noon. No super high gusts but sustained back up near 30. If it is still here at 5-6 then HRRR was way off
  11. Looks to me like it was spot on so far. If it is still windy at 5-6 re: sustained mid 20's to near 30, it was wrong. MDT sustained winds are down from near 30 at noon to low to mid 20's now. There was always going to be gusts in the 40's well into the afternoon. Same for LNS....here is LNS stats
  12. People in Chicago are yelling cutter, cutter, cutter.
  13. Late nooners....temp had dropped to 27 earlier but up to 32 now. Variably cloudy.
  14. HRRR has the wind peaking in the next 45-75 min then a slow wind down to not too bad around 7PM.
  15. HGR has a 51 and 2 49's in the books as to gusts. 46 so far here.
  16. I was just surprised they reached that high. His claim of 40's the next two days is dubious indeed.
  17. MDT struck a 42 already today, FWIW. Surprisingly high.
  18. Picked up a dusting of snow last evening and .02" of rain this Am. 34 degrees.
  19. All good points...since this is National signing day I will tack on the method at which teams stay relevant using NIL and TV exposure to draw players. It makes primary NCAA sports, especially basketball and football, lopsided from day one. I do not think fixing it is easily possible as imagine a draft being instated? Your 18 year old kid goes to Cali because of the draft? Also, with undergrad transfers many schools are lenient on it while others require a transfer to complete at least 60 credits to get a degree there so no one is going to go to that school when they are 3/4 of the way through their college credit requirements. To today's points, the CFP has grown as inconsistent as March Madness and there is really no easy way to fix it unless all teams are playing on even grounds.
  20. They call themselves swamp runners when comparing to the north. A bit racist.
  21. The SEC Bias is strong. You should hear the people down there. They think Ohio State and PSU students are fat, IT workers.
  22. You did not hear that here! What is you thought on SMU? :-)
