    The whole run is drastically different out in the upper 200's as both you and I joked about happening:-). From a blocked cutter to a southern slider. At 12Z the PA weather 540 line was in PA on Dec 11th...at 18z it is in Central Alabama. How much for Cape Hatteras?

    The 12Z GFS had the temp around -14 degrees in Northern Minn the AM of Dec 9th. The 18Z has the same area and time showing -35 degrees!

    18Z GFS says your next 60+ day is Saturday. Perfect timing to get out and about albeit it showery.

    It is not enough sun to need sunscreen but not cloudy either. It is usually a precursor to fair weather with at the most flurries or sprinkles to still come. :-)

    It is raining moderately but much less wind and no "storm" like activity. Looks like there are some embedded areas of rain+ in the line...small though.

    The wind ripped a communication line off our house. It is an old fashioned pots line and it is draped across the driveway now. Called the power company since it is their pole it is going to.

    12Z GFS/NCEP having some data issues it seems....CMC had the southern slider again for day 10.

    I will throw it out there... I predict MDT is 1 to 2 BN for Dec. Edited to say 1-2. Torn between that and 2-3 and decided to back pedal 30 min after posting the first predict.

    A lot of times the wind here translates over there in a few hours. It was gusting into the 30's before 9PM last night.
