  1. Depends on what you keep the house at, but it is 69 in my place right now after a high of 61 here today. Nothing to do with insulation, just body heat, cooking heat, etc.... My AC has not been on for a couple weeks but if it gets up near 70 outside it will be on as my house will be "in the 70's" with no AC.
  2. I hope I will as well. I do not treasure running AC in Dec. It is time to start enjoying winter once Dec 1 hits.
  3. I kept mine uncovered because it appears it will be needed sometime in the next couple weeks.
  4. 18Z models general LSV Temp forecast for tomorrow (upping 1-3 based on recent trends): Turkey Bowl 10-11:30AM Football games: 45-50 1-3PM Lunches: 55-60. 4-7PM Dinner: 52-44 THV has gone from 61-31 in the last 4 hours. 30-degree temp drop with no front passage to blame. Just dry air.
  5. I had posted that map showing some areas were in the low 40's this AM while 15 miles were 20's. The atmospheric cap did not break for some last night. THV is at 60 and their low was 23.
  6. Wow, what a rise today. Some stations are getting near +40 off their lows. THV is +37 right now. Our zones said high of 54 this AM. They adjusted them up this afternoon.
  7. Nooners, Sunny and light breeze....55 and quite nice out.
  8. The SER beats it back for a bit on this run, but it is close enough to smell the cold air.
  9. Surface temps are "tempered" on the GFS due to help from our Northeast so it may not be too bad at the Surface. Some chilly days near or BN and some 50's and low 60's mixed in when get into a stronger SW flow.
  10. This 12Z GFS 850 anomaly map is a quick look at why snow here on week one of Dec does not look great right now as Blizz mentioned (for most of the East even to our North.) Those temps are in Celsius. Even if we get help from the Atlantic keeping Surface temps more normal, that is frying up above. As usual this is a prog discussion and not a forecast. Lots of ridging over us during this time.
  11. Harden seems like he is cold a lot. Dude wears heavy coats everywhere. What a mess the Net's are... Irving and KD looked terrible.
  12. Outside travel issues for Christmas, it would be great to get a great pattern and at least one moderate snow in the second/third week of Dec time frame.
  13. 31 in the Ville. Low of 29. Lots of upper 30's and low 40's scattered around this AM. Huge temp differences with lots of low to mid 20's as well.
  14. Ben played pretty well IMO. Kd and Irving did not.
  15. Sixers put on their Air Force Ones and stomped the Ben led Nets.
  16. Now some Tobias v. Big Ben action. Hey, I just checked the MA LR thread and folks are seeming quite happy once we get a bit into Dec. Teleconnections are not my thing as there is a lot of guess work but it's a better vibe and look once we get past the next couple weeks. Let's hope the reality of LR models becomes fact to set up a White Dec. It may soon be @Blizzard of 93 time to show some real threats.
  17. Oh, I was not suggesting you should be 60. His/her temp may be getting effected by different factors. They actually made it. But yea zones were 7-10 too low for the warmer spots today. MU's forecast was more spot on.
  18. One of your neighbors is threatening to get 60!
  19. It's Tobias time! Cannot let Big Ben East win in Philly.
  20. 53 here in the Western 'Ville. I think the central LSV is going to beat me today.
