  1. We had been talking about home heating...fyi home heating oil is way down right now (compared to its high point). Can be had for 4.50 a Gal. That is not bargain compared to last year at this time but a good $1/gal less than a month or two ago.
  2. HRRR is suggesting many in the LSV break into the 60's tomorrow. Will see how it does as other models are not as warm. Canadian is upper 50's.
  3. No doubt. We had just been out of 30 and came down into Hanover out of Cross Keys. Black Rose Antiques trip. And El Rodeo. LOL
  4. Cannot talk or listen to the radio. Plus, the "smells of Franklin and Adams County are sometimes strong. MOOOOooo LOL.
  5. It's loud when driving fast . Was mostly joking but AC is on.
  6. 56 late nooners in Hanover. Wife does not like the window open so AC is on in the car. Lol
  7. Yea, looking 2-3 now. It was a long ride down from the +9 or +10.
  8. I thought it may make it back in the second week of the month, but we have lost the battle now. Another 55-60 day.
  9. 42 for the low here. Light rain on and off.
  10. The hrrr shows the inversion layer breaking down overnight.
  11. Damn you Allegiant! i am still at 50...a full 20 degrees higher than @Cashtown_Coop
  12. I do not think you can fully blame an inversion over your way last night. That would be a low one. But looks clear on the models and obs tonight. Especially in the high areas to my southwest where there are lots of 50's.
  13. I just called my contact up at around 1500 feet about 700 feet straight up from me and it is 56 there.
  14. Inversion in the highlighted area....3rd night in a row. Very much contributing to the air quality issues around the LSV right now. Smog not escaping.
  15. HRRR is pretty wet tomorrow AM in the LSV and NYC. Mid to upper 50's for highs.
  16. Yep. Picked up 233 near Pine Grove Furnace and just beyond there were piles of snow along the road...on and off for about 10 miles. It was in the low 50's at the time. Took a back way home from Dillsburg.
  17. Drove the back way home and saw some snow along the side of the road near Pine Grove Furnace.
  18. Same to you Mike. In dillsburg post football. 53 degrees.
  19. Turkey Bowl kick off in 90 min. Almost perfect temps.
  20. Me too. 70 is too warm in the winter. You come in from the outside and it feels like an oven.
  21. I have one friend (couple) that keeps their house at 78 all year long. They live in Florida now, but they used to live in Carlisle. Imagine trying to keep a house at 78 on electricity in the winter?
  22. That is your mowing plans, DP, outside and inside air temp we have so far. What temp does the turkey have to be before bringing out?
