    Just not that much in rates here. Plus 35-40 everywhere is not going to cut it except for hvy snow.

    I was just at high rock expecting a snowy scene. Cars have some snow on as do trees but no accums on the ground. Car therm was 36 so that is one reason.

    Actually some filtered sun peeking out behind high clouds near Pen Mar Park. Spiked to 40. Ugly. Still light rain falling.

    There are no rates here 1/2 mile down the mountain from Pen Mar Park, MD...for Herb.) Much too warm to accum.

    Just switched to snow here at 810' Up at 1400' feet there is a slushy coating on the ground.

    When I went through this AM the trees were covered in ice as the temp was 30 with rain.

    Fairly substantial freezing fog event taking place up here. Roofs, trees, and the grass that has been exposed are all covered in white. 26 degrees.

    58 Car therm in HGR today. Only made it to 45 just 15 min north of there near near Pen-Mar. Elevation dependent day.

    I had a bit more than you in snow, I saw your total earlier. I had measured 8.25" but went with 8 in the end along with 3" of sleet for an estimated 11". I definitely had more than the 1.5" and I thick you did too :-). I will say that the plow came by about an hour ago and the removal of that left over snow was some of the hardest I have ever had to deal with. I am on the second half of my life as well.
