  1. Impressive. Not home but will be interesting to see what mui did. They were pushing toward upper 70's but not sure if they made it. Mdt hold ground for the not warm gang.
  2. Looks like mui is up to 74 or 75 now. Not sure what going on up there....surely some environmental reason. 74 in Chambersburg, 72 at Rou.
  3. Kbub hit 73 and Kmui hit 74. The heat really seemed to concentrate north of Harrisburg and in elevation yesterday. 33 here this AM tying it for the coldest Am of the week.
  4. I never would have taken him but it was good posting material. Kept me from talking about the 18z Gfs. So morning games only then! Lol. Maybe he should play in Europe.
  5. I have # 6 in my fantasy basketball draft. Simulator says to take....Embiid!
  6. The temps north of Harrisburg are impressive considering some of those were low 30's this Am. 40ish jump
  7. You would still need to bring your trash cans to the surface.
  8. And the windows in this new addition are 3-4K each. They are big boys.
  9. Totally agree and the money here is a HUGE amount. Would easily eclipse 75K to get all new windows through out.
  10. It would be tough for many changes up there now. It is a newspapery mess! In theory since the attic is now sealed as to entry points in the ceiling, I wonder if my weak spots are more my windows. We also have an addition on the house which is full of windows all around, similar to an all season room, and it gets really warm back there on sunny days.
  11. We have this convo 2-3 times a year. Some people keep their house in the mid to upper 60's all year, others warmer. The 60's people are running their AC much of the year. I fall in between myself. 60's at night, 71ish at day. 78 out is going to force my AC to come on in January. @mitchnick is probably right in that something is not right with my setup but the house is old so I try the best I can. The fact that it only got down to 63 despite being 33 outside suggests it is holding heat fairly well. But hard to maintain 71 when 75-80 out.
  12. To me, it does not really matter what month it is, if it is 80 out I am putting the AC on. I can feel ITT coming for this post as well. LOL.
  13. At this point we will be ACing well into Nov. Some transient cold shots in between the heat on the MR models but not as cold as this last week. As much as I love that my house stayed in the low to mid 60's, it will heat up fast when it is 75-80 out.
  14. I did NOT turn the heat on during the cold snap. Got down to 63 in the house. A little chilly but worth the savings :-)
  15. I bet Stars Wars fans are not happy that Captain Kirk has a town named after him.
  16. Rgem still casting shade at chances of putting the potted plants back out until Sunday. Lows below freezing for much of the LSV the next 2 mornings. I more trust the RGEM with its spring radiational predicts so this will be a bit of a test in that most other mesos are 5-10 higher. Rgem correctly predicted most of MDT and south would get no where near freezing last night.
  17. @Mount Joy Snowman they almost made it, good call. this may be the lowest it goes for the month. Their low today is is only 2 below average and I suspect their high may come close to or equate that in the An range. Unfortunately the temps over the next week are probably going to slap the snot out of the averages.
  18. 39 this AM. MDT got stuck at 44 or 45. (Actually made 43 just after midnight)
  19. Might want to add an 80 for a day or two? We shall see.
