  1. I find that I sometimes can't get to the third beer in one sitting, so I stand up and go use the restroom, before going on to 3 and maybe 4.
  2. The front will probably cut it off but MDT is ~7 degrees higher right now than at this time yesterday. 71/72.
  3. Some warmer models have the SE part of the are tickling 80 today. MDT record is probably out of reach at 84.
  4. LNS has a T on the board. Unsure if that breaks the record streak or not.
  5. 64 this AM. Some rain showers around. MDT's 64/65 is higher than the record low for the day but HRRR suggests MDT will drop down below the record of 61 sometime after dark tonight.
  6. After reviewing everything, I think he is right. I did not know the :56 readings were not rounded. With that said, I would gladly have paid $100 to have MDT come in at 81 for the day. A profit of $999,000.
  7. I corrected my original post to say that I misunderstood your assertion. I thought you were saying all the reports were metar. I corrected it before your reply so your internet tough guy routine did not gauge my correction though I did not mean to sound harsh in my response, you did not explain your assertion very well to pinpoint the time.
  8. That is not correct. It is frequently rounded. Actually if you are saying the :56 report every day is not rounded, I am not sure about that but the other 5 min's are. I do see it says 82 at MDT for their hourly report right now. If so that would be the record.
  9. We at least have a record tie. It may not actually be 82 with that HI of 82 but should be at least 81.
  10. Up to 80 at rou. Someone go run a hair dryer on the MDT therm and get us this record.
  11. They/MDT are still sitting on 80 per the HI. LOL Need one degree for the tie, 2 for the break.
  12. I think they got to 80 right now...1 degree to tie. It is possible they may have gotten to 81 (actually not yet if the HI is right. 80/55 equal an 81 HI)
  13. AOO broke their record yesterday as well getting a 79 which topped the old record of 78.
  14. "Official" noon run down THV 79 AOO 79 CXY 74/75 LNS 73/74 HGR 73 MUI 73 MDT 69/70 ROU 69 IPT 62/63
  15. CXY jumped to 70 mid morning but has only gone up 3 since then slowing down when their wind took on an Easterly component which is surprising.
  16. Me thinks he just gave up that his insider info comes from direct messages originating in Marysville.
  17. MDT sitting at 66/67 4-10 behind all the other stations but only 67 at rou.
  18. Unfortunate for us, fortunate for them if they want rain that they are on the outer edge of a ring of fire. It all gets diverted around us for at least another week. :-(
  19. Yea, I guess the lower sun angle plays a role in less drying of the ground/under water supply.
  20. Northeast Drought Summary Temperatures were near to slightly above normal for the week in the region with only minimal precipitation recorded over portions of northeast New York and northern areas of Vermont and New Hampshire. Abnormally dry conditions expanded over New York, northern Vermont and New Hampshire and into southwest Maine as well as in southern Connecticut. Moderate drought expanded over southern New York and Long Island and across more of northern New Jersey and eastern Pennsylvania. Severe drought expanded to include all of southern New Jersey and Delaware, and a new area of severe drought emerged in Massachusetts. Severe drought also expanded in southwest Pennsylvania. Moderate drought expanded in northern Virginia and eastern Maryland, while abnormally dry conditions emerged in most of the rest of Virginia.
