We are planning on covering our marigolds tonight in hopes of getting them to Thanksgiving, they look so good right now. With no freezing here yet we are still harvesting peppers, raspberry's and strawberries. Bonus veggies and fruits. LOL.
Up to 68 here. Looks like HGR and THV have hit at least 70. The Dulles's, BWI's and DCA's are really over achieving in soring into the mid to upper 70's. 3-5 over zones.
NWS Station 24 Hour Precip roundup. Not many solid rain chances in the near to mid term. BUT the yard cutting down the mountain is going to be crazy the next 2-3 days. The grass down there is going to grow fast.

Wed AM still looks likely to finally break the seal for those of us who have not hit freezing yet. MDT, no bets there. If they miss this one they could be headed for top 5 or record category as there are no signs of a sustained cold outbreak at 500H on ensembles or ops. This is BY FAR the longest I have gone into a season without hitting 32. The Gefs is the coldest of the 3 in the LR but not cold for this time of the year...we do finally get rid of 70's and 80's. Zonal across the board. Seattle air over us. MU is probably giddily getting ready to write off Nov after mid-week coming up.
