    I do not think MDT made 80 but their 78 or 79 is the warmest temp this late in the year in the history of the station. Once you go down a few degrees it is much more common place though. MDT has reached 75 twice in Dec on Dec 7th, 1998 and Dec 29th 1984. Unbelievably a full 1/3 of the days in Dec have reached 70 or above at MDT.

    Also of note/reminder, if MDT gets to 80 it will be the latest in the year they have ever achieved that. That is quite noteworthy. Quite a few clouds here and 76.

    MDT got down to 63 as the morning went on, removing the shot for the Max Min.

    An incredible 60 here this AM while MDT is at 64/65. MDT has a shot at 2 records today. The max high and max min. If they are at 64 right now they could tie the max min if they hold it through midnight tonight. Max high record is 77 from 1948.

    If the data I just read is correct, the latest in the year that MDT has ever hit 80 was Nov 2nd.

    76 here and something I thought I would never see this time of the year I have a mercury therm, that is very very susceptible to sun, hanging off a kitchen window facing west. It is reading 100 degrees.

    Two 31's and a 32 if I picked the correct chart. .

    I have not had a freeze yet this year and you have been in the 20's so has been that type of fall. HGR's low was 41 and AOO was 40 while MDT was 36/37 so sort of similar to you and I this Am.

    MDT did not even get close. 36/37 for the low as of now. I do not believe CXY or HGR have had a freeze either.
