  1. Looks like south shore of Long Island is getting into some of that ocean enhanced snow as well
  2. New hrr initialized pretty close to radar and has the mix line basically not cross lint island til after 00z bringing another 8-10 inches from central New Jersey through nyc Long Island
  3. There is a precip hole over south Jersey so the lighter rates probably allowed it to move in if I had to guess but I’m no pro
  4. Ocean enhanced precip absolutely exploding south of long island
  5. Check out okx the ocean effect bands moving opposite direction of the storm bands pretty cool

  8. Heavy snow, heaviest should start coming through now. Mix line basically still crawling/stalled to the S/w
  9. can see it on klwx as well… there’s a nice fight with the cold air…. Any slow down can be huge @jm1220
  10. If you look at kdix mix line you can see that battle happening down there, back and forth
  11. Clear push south on the sleet line south of Jersey last few frames..this is gonna be a back and forth battle with this extremely cold atmosphere.
  12. RGEM is a crush job has the sleet line slower/ pulls south later while over Long Island 10-15 inches
  13. But isn’t that based of 12z initialization which makes a little more sense if not ya you’re right
  14. There is a wall of heavy snow coming look towards PA
  15. Radar scope correlation coefficient setting and you’ll see the line
  16. Sleet line clearly slowing down south it’s def coming but any slow down or stall means a lot here
