  1. Nice, all snappers and grouper?
  2. Good luck sir, was down last weekend they loaded up.
  3. My cousin was driving through Zebulon on 64. I will try to get specifics from him,
  4. Got a great picture of the Zebulon tornado from my cousin, but can not get it to load on here. Has something changed?
  5. you will see some snow now for sure.
  6. Having a hard time with that myself @shaggy. Had not heard the tip part. I have a buddy that flew those choppers with flir for the NCHP. They don't miss much if it's warmer than surrounding fauna. Remember, that's how they found the Boston marathon guy hiding in the boat under a cover.
  7. I just ordered my premergent from Southern States. All this forecasted warm weather will surely germinate those weeds.
  8. Keep the faith man, there is some cold air incoming. I think before winter 2019 is over we get a suppressed coastal. Told my wife Monday that we would be snow chasing to the beach house in EI before it was al over.
  9. Yeah, I'm not either, but holy moly that was amazing. Agree on Dabo, his enthusiasm elevates the players for sure.
  10. Just realized I got that wrong. That's just wow, what a power house duo for Dabo! Ross is like human flypaper.
  11. And...That's a young team. Trevor Lawrence is a sophomore and Justin Ross is a freshman. There will be Tiger paws on 95 all the way to the Ga line for a while.
  12. Nah, it needs a string of 60/70's to germinate. Ground temp in the upper 50's. You can sod it though. It will be dormant but will start to grow when temps go up.
  13. That's where my hat is hung. Really does look like things pick up after the 16th. We should be getting better hints in the next few days as Poiman pointed out this afternoon. A cold back end has a lot of promise.
  14. You are right, Chris and I were talking about my proximity to Sharon Harris in this regard. I had recently read an article about the effects of nuclear plants around the country on the available moisture in the air. That cooling pool evaporates a ton of moisture . Hyco lake does the same thing for Roxboro. I also should have added in spite of my whiff this time I am very happy for you guys. There is something truly magic about Dec snow.
  15. For the first time in a long time, I got to watch mostly rain while my friends to the north got mostly snow. It's just climo. When we are short on precip and we have the cold it almost always works better for my area. My point here is the same as when someone is chastised for Hurricane/Tornado excitement, 0,Zilch nada NO amount of wishing changes the weather. Ya get what ya get. If you don't like it move. I looked hard in Roxboro before deciding on our place in Moncure. Climo was no small consideration. At the end of the day the better property won out. I'll take my 3 inches of slush and like it!
  16. no doubt.....quit that a while back , way too much inane ignorant drama. Wait, which thread are we talking about?
  17. He will be at the Grove Park inn
  18. I know man me too. Hey it's early Dec, this should not be happening. Solar minimum, Nino and wooley worms all point to this being a better year than we've had in a long time. Keep the faith.
  19. Just to be clear, nobody has gotten anything yet.
