lol, I'll talk to Brick. I'm sure @FallsLake and @jburnswill come. @No snow for you is in. I bet @Isopycnic will too. If we plan it around @burgertime 's return to the US maybe him too. Now back on topic and let's move this to banter. I have a feeling things pick up in here pretty quick as we get into range for the end of the month.

Not sure , but the Benz saved my hind parts this am on the way in. I hit a patch on US1 around Apex I never saw coming. The car took over and ESP/ABS did it's thing all in a span of micro seconds. It' was awesome.

I'm in, we have a lot more forum peeps now. Maybe @mackerel_sky will join us this time. More on topic, the FV3 sure is throwing some interesting frozen scenarios out for the end of the month. Looks like we will get to see just how good this new model can be!

You are right, Chris and I were talking about my proximity to Sharon Harris in this regard. I had recently read an article about the effects of nuclear plants around the country on the available moisture in the air. That cooling pool evaporates a ton of moisture . Hyco lake does the same thing for Roxboro. I also should have added in spite of my whiff this time I am very happy for you guys. There is something truly magic about Dec snow.

For the first time in a long time, I got to watch mostly rain while my friends to the north got mostly snow. It's just climo. When we are short on precip and we have the cold it almost always works better for my area. My point here is the same as when someone is chastised for Hurricane/Tornado excitement, 0,Zilch nada NO amount of wishing changes the weather. Ya get what ya get. If you don't like it move. I looked hard in Roxboro before deciding on our place in Moncure. Climo was no small consideration. At the end of the day the better property won out. I'll take my 3 inches of slush and like it!

Brick, remember we are still looking at virtual reality here. A shift in the low track or the WAA that folks have mentioned are very real possibilities. We all want the snow or we wouldn't be here. The reality is there are still things that can keep big accumulation numbers from happening.
