  1. Best pattern since '96. Feet and feet of blocking. We're all gonna be exhausted from shoveling all that pattern by April.
  2. Tanking for draft picks. ....And resting them so they can shovel feet of Miller B snows.
  3. Not a flake. Rain from the start. More cold rain. New year, same shit.
  4. Winds just went WNW and are howling. Temp drop 5 degrees in 10 minutes. Down to 42F. As expected, precip stopped immediately.
  5. Its a natural law that we have the crappiiest weather imaginable each and every Christmas. Complain about 65F and sunny?? Well then, I give you 50s and flooding rains .... and then I will give you miserable wind and the cold that you needed several hours earlier. Light rain currently. Foggy and gross. Merry Christmas.
  6. Awesome. More warm /wet followed by wind/dry/cold...in that order of intensity.
  7. Its definitely not a good look if you're a rodent or eucalyptus tree either. Owl or Kuala Bear. I can't tell.
  8. It sucks to see 2' model runs vanish and 12-18" forecasts not verify, but a couple more events like this and it'll have been a good winter.
  9. Yep. The 12-18 amounts out this way seemed too bullish based on the last 24 hours of guidance. Mix zones usually verify more north and west than forecast.
  10. Lol. Even Stephens City reported more than me. That move NW sure paid off.
  11. Looks like an additional 1.25" from the backside. But snow depth still 7" due to the sleet compaction. Total snow fall then is 8.5", and an unknown amount of sleet.
  12. Just got some huge flakes and rates. Then boom. Nothing but a little sleet. Clouds have taken on the dreary gray look. That may be it for the snow. Measured 7.0" before the flip. Still, good storm. Got Christmas lights in the snow and am playing out with kids. Good day.
  13. Heaviest of the day! I cant even see to the edge of my property.
  14. 3" Period of heavy snow just ended. Hope for another!
  15. Sleet lasted about 15 minutes, and turned back, I guess, when rates picked up .
  16. About 2". Rates really picked up. Big beautiful dendrites.
