From my lips to God's ears. 6z showed signs of breaking this heat at D10ish too. Some support from GEFS also. Maybe it's for real.

Yes, the heat at starting at 168 hr on the EPS and GFS looks even warmer than this weekend.

Man, 6Z was the worst GFS run yet. After a 30hr cool down to normal midweek, it's hideous through the rest of the run.

My definition of roasting is anything above 80F this time of year. Meh, what good does rain do us now? I like it dry beginning this time of year. Better for the fall colors as long as we get cool nights.

GEFS in full agreement. After today, we roast, and practically all the way through the first week of Oct, with no end in sight at 384hr. Pray that they are wrong.

Got down to 50F around 4 am, but spiked up to 55. Looks like it coincided with a bit of breeze. I see spots just west, probably sheltered, into the 40s. Edit Actually, it was clouds. Bad timing, we could have easily made it to upper 40s.

Weekday or not, I am sitting by the firepit enjoying Octoberfest and this gorgeous evening. Cheers!

Yeah we went quickly from summer to winter. Very short fall. Dont want a repeat.

No support for a cooler regime taking over after this weekend on the EPS. GEFS gives us bouts of close to normal between heat surges, and 6Z GFS is once again straight summer through 384hr.
