  1. Another storm blew up in the wake of the first. This one a flush hit, but still on the edge. Branches down, patio furniture blown off, and at least another .5". Sun shining for most of it. Lol. Grateful for the rain and cooling my roof. Temp knocked down to 78F.
  2. I'm right on the edge of rain. Got 5 minutes of wind blown rain. Ground wet, but not much. Ripping less than 1/4 mile away. Impressive to watch it form, but just barely too far west for this one.
  3. The great irony is that I will be in NC/SC this week and will miss the cool down. Ugh.
  4. Scored a nice t-storm. Nice surprise. Yard desperately needed the rain. In excess of .5". Temp knocked down to 78F. Caught a real nice break.
  5. Nah, just 5 months out of year.
  6. Split perfectly by 2 big batches of storms....one to my north, the other to my south. *sigh*
  7. Boy, it's great to be back home. Not. At least the grass didn't grow even a mm last week while I was away. No mowing for week #3.
  8. I could get used to this....
  9. Lol. I'm in Maine, so I dont care.... but 0.09" today back home. Temp this morning in Rangeley was 47F. Yesterday was 72, sparkling blue skies, and not a trace of humidity. It was like mid october back home. This place is magnificent.
  10. Nah, nice soaker here this evening. More just off to my east, but no complaints.
  11. Ha! You moved to Stephen's City!
  12. 58 for the low this morning. Pretty nice for the beginning of July.
  13. Another day, another shutout. Total for the week 0.07". 1.25" for the past 7 weeks. Grass is almost toast.
  14. Another day without even a drop. There is a storm firing 3 miles to my east right now. Maybe I'll get to hear a rumble of distant thunder!
  15. Looking like another complete whiff for me. 1.25" over the last 6 weeks. Back to desert.
  16. Picked up a whopping .02". Another dud of a day here. It refuses to rain. Less than 1" since 5/3. Numerous areas of browning showing up in my yard. All is right in the world again.
  17. Managed to miss everything this week. Not even a drop. Has turned quite dry here over the past 3 weeks.
  18. This is the first significant rain in nearly 2 weeks ( I think). As an allergy sufferer. it doesn't take long to develop a desire for rain this time of year.
