  1. I'll take the over. Save this map for verification later.
  2. I always get a laugh when someone in mid to late august posts that, after a nice 384hr run, "summer is over" or "it's back is broken". The sad reality is that it is summer here until mid October.... at least.
  3. Absolute perfect timing to **** us. Negative straight through the months it doesn't help us and a flip to + as soon as it can hurt us.
  4. 58F for the low. 82F yesterday. This was one unimpressive cold front. We went from +15F all the way down to +1F. And in 2 days we'll be right back to +10F. Summers here just drag on and on. And the 6Z GFS is a disaster unless you are @subtropics.
  5. Low of 59F. Not that nice. Latest GFS was wall to wall AN.
  6. Nothing but blue skies here today. As is everyday.
  7. Carrot on a stick for the next 6 weeks.
  8. Lots of Storms, but all just to my north. Sigh.
  9. And I will be making many more starting in 3 months. You havent been here long have you.
  10. Lol. You all are in mid winter form. Policing rational thought and posts in a thread with this subtitle - much less started by JI- is a little much dont you think? Perhaps by looking at the calendar and seeing an 8 at the beginning of the date might be a clue that the post was in jest.
  11. What is the correlation between the We Suck Index and DJF snowfall and temperatures?
  12. Pigs flying, or hell freezing over come to mind.
  13. Another day, another shutout. Total for the week 0.07". 1.25" for the past 7 weeks. Grass is almost toast.
  14. Another day without even a drop. There is a storm firing 3 miles to my east right now. Maybe I'll get to hear a rumble of distant thunder!
  15. Looking like another complete whiff for me. 1.25" over the last 6 weeks. Back to desert.
  16. Picked up a whopping .02". Another dud of a day here. It refuses to rain. Less than 1" since 5/3. Numerous areas of browning showing up in my yard. All is right in the world again.
  17. Managed to miss everything this week. Not even a drop. Has turned quite dry here over the past 3 weeks.
  18. This is the first significant rain in nearly 2 weeks ( I think). As an allergy sufferer. it doesn't take long to develop a desire for rain this time of year.
