    GFS keeping next Fri/Sat interesting. Looks good for at least some NWF at the least. I'll take anything over the 60+º we've got coming this week. I love warm weather as much as the next guy just... not in January. LOL

    They're making a killing right now. Sugar has been sold out and App Ski is doing really well. All the tubing places around have been booked up all week as well. We've been doing insane business at the store this week as well. I'm pretty much out of hats/gloves. Been crazy. I swear the entire city of Miami is in Boone/Blowing Rock right now.

    Snowing pretty steady again here in Blowing Rock. Started a couple hours ago on and off and actually falling at a decent clip at times right now.

    Bottomed out at -7.8 Currently warmed to a balmy -2.9 Also looks like another half inch or so of snow overnight.

    We're still falling quicker than I had expected. We stalled around -1 for quite a while. Down to -4.4 now and I can hear the wind roaring up above me.

    We've made -3.6 and still slowly dropping. Worth noting I suppose that the HRRR does bring a little more moisture in tonight, mainly for the northern mountains. It's not much but with 25-26:1 ratios it won't take much.

    Yeah it's fallen off a cliff particularly fast here. Down about 3.5 in the last half hour. Currently 4.8. DP down to 1.5 so we'll probably join you below zero in another hour or two.

    Temp falling pretty quick down to 34.5 no precip yet. Won't be wasting much on liquid it doesn't appear. This assumes the upper temps catch up. Mesoanalysis has 850s back west of Morristown still.

    Worth noting looking back towards Paris, TN the HRRR has been nearly spot on with the temperature drop. NAM is running a little warm and the GFS and Euro even more so. Sent from my Pixel 5 using Tapatalk
