Solid half inch on raised surfaces like the porch and cars but nothing sticking to the ground. Had a couple of decent showers roll through in the last little bit.

The NAM 3k really blows up storms across the area. Also an early snapshot of the snow. The snow looks convective early on.

Bottomed out at 25 with heavy frost this morning. Already back to 50°

32, windy and where did the warm weather go.

Hit 21 with enough flurries on the ground to call it a trace this morning.

Interested to see how the pattern shakes out over the next month with a Nina coming in hot. Wouldn't be surprised to see some big severe threats in April.

We've had a couple of days of great motorcycle riding weather across the Mountains. I'm noticing more folks out and about enjoying the break, but I am not seeing the typical early spring flowers making an appearance just yet. The models indicate we may see freezing temperatures early next week.

Been snowing on and off all morning. Big flakes but too warm to stick.

Extremely beautiful sunset tonight.

Had to drive down to Charlotte this morning for a bit. Went from 25 at the house to 50 near the airport. It's always a bit warmer there but usually closer to 10-15 degrees rather than 25. Impressive.

Temps dropping now. Down to 44.

0z GFS is SO CLOSE to a nice mountain thump this weekend. Unfortunately temps look close.

Imma need this weekends system to trend NW. Currently no snow AND a rained out 500 is not acceptable lol

GFS is trying so hard. I think we are still definitely in the game.

Also I wouldn't be surprised to see the SW mountains get a surprise dusting or inch Tue/Wed if the GFS is right with the cold wrapping around the backside of the low.

Really disappointed that this next system didn't work out. Did enjoy the warmer weather the past couple days.

Stuck at 32.7 all night. Barely a dusting. Grandfather will probably be gorgeous once the clouds break later today with the sticky nature of the snow though.

34 with fat flakes. Hopefully can pick up an inch or so.

Yeah tonight should be real interesting.  I'm surprised the NWS didn't come out with an advisory for any of the mountains...

I'm curious to see how tomorrow night plays out. Been a bit since we had a legit clipper.

Good grief! 2 Feet of snow + for Haywood County early next week. 

Just drove up to Tynecastle and holy cow it was dumping. Near white out at times with the wind. Probably a couple inches on the ground.
