  2. Does Route 83 even open in time for rush hour tomorrow? . Pro
  3. I saw them out at 11 am. They were sanding the roads. I think they were more concerned with the ice then the snow. Once the rates went crazy and everyone started to leave at the same time it was over. . Pro

  6. Elizabethtown buses all returned to their schools and they are asking parents, guardians, emergency contacts to come “reunify” with their children. . Pro
  7. That final deform band on the HRRR looks awesome. . Pro
  8. Wasn’t that the storm that caused thousands of stranded motorists on the highways? . Pro
  9. It’s still 29 here. That rain is going turn those roads into glaciers because they never got treated. . Pro
  10. The freezing rain is going to do a number on the roads with major traffic. All the packed down snow will turn to a block of ice. It’s not like they can even be treated, because of the traffic. . Pro
  11. I’m sure the sleet & freezing drizzle for the next 10 hours followed by a 2-3 hr burst of snow just before rush hour tomorrow is going to make it a real picnic tonight. . Pro
  12. Said f it and walked 4.7 miles from Camp Hill to New Cumberland. Market st is a parking lot. On Bridge st Firefighters are going car to car handing out water. Cars are running out of gas left and right. . Pro
  13. Where are the CTP snow maps that show the min, forecast, & max amounts? They had them last year under winter weather but I can’t find them now. . Pro
  14. Horst wrote on Twitter 30 minutes about how tricky this forecast is and if Lancaster is a degree or two colder then it’s 6”+ for them. . Pro
  15. I would think it’s quite likely that some place in northwestern Cumberland county will meet the warning criteria. I’ve never seen them issue winter storm warnings for parts of counties. . Pro
  16. Where do you obtain the data sets you use for your analysis? . Pro
  17. Don (or anyone else), Do you know of any site where I can get standard deviation values for yearly rainfall for climate reporting sites around Pennsylvania? Trying to avoid having to download all the data and calculate it myself. . Pro
  18. That extended forecast is ridiculous. 80’s on October 11th? . Pro
  19. Monday finally begins October.....just in time for 3 days straight in the 80’s. . Pro
  20. For the first time in decades(?) PSU has a dominant O-line in regards to its rushing attack. Combine that with the tank that is Miles Sanders plus the general ineptitude of PSU defense and PAU could do worse then attempting the “Army” strategy and just physically running it down OSU’s throat to try to control possession. On defense if OSU is bound to score All the time they might as try some exotic blind side blitzes to see how this new OSU QB reacts to unexpectedly eating grass and having the wind knocked out of him. If by some miracle they actually have to punt at least PSU has Hamler leading the best special team return game they’ve had here in forever (ever?). . Pro
