As you say...replace the H’s with the L’s and we are in great shape.

Better all the way around. Still tries to dump the trough out west near the end but it was a solid step towards the GEFS compared to 0z eight the EPO. We live to fight another day.

Icon gets precip to us but surface is torched. Also getting pretty sheared as it gets to the coast....on the GFS!

The ICON is the only global that is doing this (yes i know the ICON sucks but just for visualization).

Ok I'll say it. The Euro is no good for next week. Squashed and shredded.

H5 was an Improvement in my eyes. The NS SW that had been suppressing everything was further out front and the SS SW was slower allowing heights to build again. It just gets so messy with all the vorts flying around.

Light stuff makes it to dc at 138 but the storm just hits a wall and drifts east.

Maybe it’s just me but on the 0z GFS looks remarkably similar to this weekends storm for nexts week storm. Closed H5 low in the south and northern stream hammer crashing the party.

Seems to be a consensus among 12z to dive that NS vort behind the ss one.

Definitely some rainier solutions win the mix but the mean is nice looking.

12z GFS is trying for the early next week storm. NS SW getting behind the southern one prompting higher heights out front. May or may not get it done but its a closer look.

Concern I see is potentially the block is centered to far south? . As we move forward in time however the look up top looks ripe
