Better all the way around. Still tries to dump the trough out west near the end but it was a solid step towards the GEFS compared to 0z eight the EPO. We live to fight another day.
H5 was an Improvement in my eyes. The NS SW that had been suppressing everything was further out front and the SS SW was slower allowing heights to build again. It just gets so messy with all the vorts flying around.
Maybe it’s just me but on the 0z GFS looks remarkably similar to this weekends storm for nexts week storm. Closed H5 low in the south and northern stream hammer crashing the party.
12z GFS is trying for the early next week storm. NS SW getting behind the southern one prompting higher heights out front. May or may not get it done but its a closer look.
