Did anything tick south besides the ccb line? Not sure what you mean? 850 low looks slower exiting the coast which probably helped the ccb stay south longer.

There are places in Pa on the Ukie that get 3-5 inches where the cmc drops the 40” spot. Ukie is mostly central va with the WAA then the coastal deform is through the cities and NE. Well south of the cmc.

CMC is close to 8° colder at the surface compared to the gfs at 0z Monday.

I’ve seen this movie before. I still think we do ok up here in regards to the WAA thump but being on the southern fringe of a developing ccb is usually a losing scenario. I think 6-8 is a safe call here.

This is the fear I have...we miss the meat of the WAA and miss the ccb just NE. Still a good storm but it’s the way we fail near the city.

Gfs looks very similar to 12z. Major deform action into md and some into dc.

Sooo...can us near DC crew complain now about the North movement on the EURO or is that only reserved for the northerners and south trends? Asking for a friend.
