  1. Central VA south hit on the Euro. Nice shift NW but still a little south of the Nam.
  2. Silent ones can be just as deadly...
  3. Looks like 18 hours of frozen give or take. It's had that overrunning setup for the last several runs, but had been aiming at the Carolinas.
  4. So the RGEM and cmc are the only misses. I’m sure now they will be right lol
  5. Nam drops over 1.2" of precip in like 9 hours. It's decently cold up above but we would be relying on dynamically cooling the surface. That always works out except when it doesn't.
  6. Definitely. Looks like some of our storms where we near the city post obs that it’s 45/34 waiting for precip to arrive.
  7. Kuchera is LOL. basically 8-12 from SW VA through the cities.
  8. Nam at 9z Sunday has heavy snow from ezf north to just south of the Mason Dixon line.
  9. Don’t have the 90 panel to compare from 0z but this is as close as it got.
  10. Gfs doesn’t split the PV as much as previous runs. Parks it right over just north of the Great Lakes. Looks pretty primed for a storm post 180 as wentz has been point out.
  11. I agree whole heartedly. We don't need record cold. As long as its not 38 in Pittsburgh when a storm is approaching. Everything looks good in loading to source region with deep cold. Better than any point so far.
  12. I'd sign on the dotted line for a 6-10 superbowl storm right now.
  13. Doesn't look like the Euro will miss south for the weekend like the GFS...
  14. Nice snow globe back in Arlington, too bad its 36 degrees.
  15. Just measured 2” new since this band started over night and now back to mod snow.
  16. Me waking up this morning...
  17. Going to be some surprised folks waking up. Radar looks great for snow continuing.
  18. Woke up to over 1.2” of new snow and currently light to mod snow. Day 3 of winter weather in a row with a storm total of over 4”.
  19. I’d certainly be around 3.5”+ or so two day total. I just got lazy yesterday but measured 3” compacted last night before the freezing rain/sleet kicked in.
  20. Steady light snow with flakes improving. Praying the Euro is right.
  21. I'd be pretty excited North of Baltimore for the remainder of the day. Radar looks great.
  22. https://a.atmos.washington.edu/~ovens/wxloop.cgi?radar_us_full+30+-noauto good full country radar, similar to the old NWS Radar.
