  1. I'd sign on the dotted line for a 6-10 superbowl storm right now.
  2. Doesn't look like the Euro will miss south for the weekend like the GFS...
  3. Nice snow globe back in Arlington, too bad its 36 degrees.
  4. Just measured 2” new since this band started over night and now back to mod snow.
  5. Me waking up this morning...
  6. Going to be some surprised folks waking up. Radar looks great for snow continuing.
  7. Woke up to over 1.2” of new snow and currently light to mod snow. Day 3 of winter weather in a row with a storm total of over 4”.
  8. I’d certainly be around 3.5”+ or so two day total. I just got lazy yesterday but measured 3” compacted last night before the freezing rain/sleet kicked in.
  9. Steady light snow with flakes improving. Praying the Euro is right.
  10. I'd be pretty excited North of Baltimore for the remainder of the day. Radar looks great.
  11. https://a.atmos.washington.edu/~ovens/wxloop.cgi?radar_us_full+30+-noauto good full country radar, similar to the old NWS Radar.
  12. One thing for sure as we all knew is the GFS thermals were trash. Only 27° here and mighty slick.
  13. Tomorrow was never the day for the dc folks. That will be north. We will see what happens through the day and tonight but it seems to me the main WAA piece went through Fredericksburg and down to Richmond.
  14. If the radar doesn’t fill in, it will be a pretty big miss by pretty much all guidance for the near metro. I have about 0.2” of precip total. Just crazy to think just yesterday models were spitting out close to an inch. Never bet against the Nams I suppose. kids love it though!
  15. It will be right for the wrong reason. I can’t wait to see precip totals after today but I can’t have had more than 0.2”. Pretty big miss when most models had more than 0.4”.
  16. 2.5” in N. Arlington. Been pixie dust for about the last two hours while I was outside with the kids. Here’s to hoping for a couple more this afternoon!
  17. It’s 6:30 am. Best stuff today was always between 10-4pm.
  18. 29° and light snow. Not the best trends since the afternoon yesterday but still going with 5”+ for the dc metro (dca 3.2).
  19. RGEM is NE with the CCB but still wraps good snows down through dc.
  20. What a firehose into NYC on the 3k. You can see some semblance of the deform rotating into north eastern Maryland.
  21. Anyone else yelling at their phone/computer...”Tuck you SOB!” Or is it just me?
