I know hockey is a "winter" sport but when I used to go to the bar before Wolf Pack games (which was like a 3 minute walk to the game) I hated the walk in the winter...dreaded it. I remember a few times when they got deeper into the playoffs and had some late April home games walking to the game in warm weather...so much better.
Going to Florida for Christmas (December 23 - 30).
Hopefully it will be good EL Nino climo and there will be some severe chances down there.
Also going to see Rangers @ Panthers December 29. Was hoping Bruins were in Florida but I'll take the Rangers.
My bestfriend/roommate from college got a job on TV in Portland several months back (his second stint in Maine). He's pretty pumped...he's going to get to do live storm coverage. He's gone out in some snowstorms but his first taste with tropical.
maybe its those interpreting the model(s) that are horrendous.
If people didn't wet their pants at 7-10 SLP progs, snow maps, and other eye candy products, expectations would be more in check.
The rain Monday is believed to have contributed to a water main break in Springfield Monday night and we have a boil water alert. Got it last night and just got the update again. Says nothing about not showering and I showered this morning. Hopefully I don't undergo some type of mutation.
