Wonder if the snow this morning helped you out? I’m up at 1560’ and sitting steady at 43

I saw 5-10 flakes but 95% rain. Drove into town and saw they had a dusting. Somehow missed out.

HvWard staying strong and calling for 1-3” across the area. But, I’m personally just ready to move on from this silly event. Glad we had something to track and more on the horizon hopefully. But, this one was draining

I only saw a few flakes down where I am in Old Fort but dusting in parts of Marion/Sugar Hill.

That and Dec 18, 2009 were pegged a week+ out. Always a few wiggles in amounts but both events locked in and stayed in modeling.

Seems like the NWFS dissapointed a bit overnight as well? I know the foothills are especially starved but it’s not like the mountains have gotten in on any rich gulf/Miller A storms the last few years either.

Maybe that 2009 through 2018 time period just spoiled me. A blip here or there but annually we’d get solid events. Now we have to beg and plead for an inch. And still nothing.

Back in the olden days, didn’t the UK sort of hint at where the EURO was going to end up on its next run? I feel like I remember folks making those connections back in 2014-2018 when we were tracking storms left and right
