Why is the HRRR giving me 4-5" of snow?

I had to drive my wife to a doctor's appointment from Pepperell to Cambridge. Thought we'd be leaving in snow, but by time we got there it'd be over (at least that was the forecast). When we got to Cambridge it was still puking dendrites and I thought to myself....something is going on here. When we left here Doctor's and it was still just pouring snow, I knew something great was happening.

Honestly CT can have it. We're on to spring and lawn cleanup season at this latitude.

Winter's over huh? Now that all of the snow is melted. All I can see if the sticks that fell all winter. Got an email from my golf league today. It's over. Let's go!

I have gas but even I am having my chimney guy install a pellet stove in May.

That's why I capped my snow forecast at 10". But seems even that was aggressive. Never above 8" from now on.
