  1. Flash flooding has been occurring near Pleasant Gardens the last few hours. Some places have over 6 inches of rain since 4 am. We are at 2.97 event total. Heavy embedded showers continue.
  2. That band is barely moving over McDowell with some crazy rates. Its a couple miles west of my location but gave me .67 in 20 minutes. A flash flood warning might be issues if it doesn't start weakening or moving.
  3. I see you getting clocked in Rutherford. We are only at .32 in McDowell
  4. Today has been a bit of a bust. Only .15 here and the radar is paltry. All went to the east. Most models have backed off some. GFS down to 2 or 3 inches.
  5. Going to be the wildest weather week of 2023 so far. Buckle up
  6. Pretty much every model has 6 to 12 inches of rain here. Insane.
  7. NAM coming into range and showing some heavy amounts with a lot more to come...
  8. 06Z GFS is bad Are we seeing some model consensus?
  9. Models' all over the place but seems to be the southern escarpment into NE GA could be the big winners unless it trends more south.
  10. Yep. We just need 2 or 3 inches of rain and we will be OK for a while
  11. Models are shifting south fast. Some give me very little already. To much northwest flow around the upper low
  12. I'm saving this. Might be the highest rain total output for WNC I have ever seen since I have started following weather models. Only other thing that was close was Ivan back in 2004. It was supposed to stall out over our area but luckily moved quicker than anticipated (the flooding was still bad)
  13. Did I complain too much about the lack of rain?
  14. Yeah this is one of the scariest, craziest Euro runs of all time for my area.... Widespread 10 plus inches of rain up to 25 inches in places. bonkers.
  15. I know its probably wrong but good Lord this Euro run is scary for flooding in escarpment areas and SW NC.
  16. Let's hope we get most of that. I'm only at .49 for the month. It keeps pushing back the rain until next week. Monday-Wednesday could be Washouts
  17. 48 here. Most 40 degree June mornings I ever remember
  18. Glad we got almost got half an inch the past 24 hours because this don't look promising
  19. SW mountains will do well. Northern foothills not so much.
