    It stinks for us but imagine being near the triad or southern Virginia where they were looking at 4 to 6 inches just yesterday now a dusting to an inch at best. Raleigh may get 2 or 3 inches but that's questionable.

    I'm surprised how warm its gotten. Its 36 in Asheville which means its probably at least that in Marion.

    Big flakes coming down now. It's beautiful and I will never complain about watching snow fall.

    The wind is strangely picking up out of the east and I have a decent snow shower going on. Too bad it's above freezing or it might be accumulating

    The radar looks ok but the air is dry. It's even 34 here.

    Hampton Roads is the only place that will reach warning criteria. Maybe northern outer banks too

    If the trends continue, The RDPS has been the most consistent of short range models showing little to no moisture for most of the western piedmont and foothills. Much more consistent than the Nam.
